Weather Notice
The safety of athletes is paramount and Saturday is predicted to be a very hot day, with temperatures into the 30s and little cloud cover. Please make sure you are suitably protected from the sun, including sun cream, a hat rather than a visor and that each athlete carries a water bottle with them when in a boat. You should also try to keep sheltered from the sun as much as possible.
Please refer to the guidelines provided by British Rowing in section 8.2 of Row Safe and the Safety Alert for rowing in the sun.
Our clubhouse will be open all day and the large white marquee near the finish will be used as a ‘rest and recovery area’ as soon as the umpires lunch has been cleared. Our catering team will be providing hot and cold refreshments throughout the day.
