U3A Rowing Group
Peterborough City Rowing Club hosts two U3A Rowing Groups, one for beginners and one for more experienced rowers.
The group meets at the Rowing Club on Thorpe Meadows, Peterborough, on Mondays at 10am and on Thursdays at 1.30pm. Members may attend either or both sessions although beginners initially attend only on a Thursday. The Group has access to expert coaching and all equipment – a modest fee is levied for each session with the chance to join the rowing club later if desired.
The U3A Group is very friendly and welcomes new members who are free to come along for a taster session before committing to the Group – there is also generally the offer of tea and cake following the sessions.
